Deluxe 2 Bedroom Bure

This new room category will be available for stays from 01 April 2027.   The Deluxe 2 Bedroom Beach Bures at Mai Sunset Beach Resort each offer spacious accommodation for both families and adults alike – all with those important uninterrupted ocean views and easy access to the beach.


Set along the beachfront, these rooms are 80 sqm / 861 sq ft in size and feature a large lounge/open plan main bedroom area with a walk-in wardrobe for ample storage space and a separate second bedroom down the hallway. The rooms include an ensuite bathroom with our trademark outdoor-style shower. Thoughtfully designed for comfort, with both fans and air-conditioning, these rooms are generous in size so are ideal for friends or families seeking a quiet escape with the beach at their doorstep.

Beach Bure

The Beach Bures at Mai Sunset Beach Resort offer a peaceful, beachfront retreat with uninterrupted ocean views. Set amongst lush tropical gardens, the rooms feature a comfortable Queen bed, along with relaxed furnishings with a touch of Fijian culture.


Each Beach Bure is 45 sqm / 484 sq ft in size and includes an ensuite bathroom with a refreshing outdoor-style shower, offering a simple yet memorable island experience surrounded by nature. Thoughtfully designed for comfort, these rooms are ideal for couples or friends seeking a quiet escape with the beach at their doorstep. A rollaway bed can be added to the bures with a Queen bed for either a third adult or a child.

Beach Tent

The new Beach Tent room category will be available for stays from 01 November 2026.


Custom-designed exclusively for Mai Sunset Beach Resort, these tent structures are 48.5 sqm / 520 sq ft in size with solid beams and a deluxe interior finish are genuine beachfront.


Each Beach Tent includes an ensuite bathroom with a refreshing outdoor-style shower, offering a simple yet memorable island experience surrounded by nature. Thoughtfully designed for comfort, these rooms are ideal for couples seeking a fun escape, with a Queen bed only.

Garden Bure

The Garden Bure at Mai Sunset Beach Resort offers a relaxed and comfortable retreat, ideal for groups of friends or small families travelling together.


Surrounded by tropical gardens, the  45 sqm / 484 sq ft room features three individual single beds (or 1 x double and 1 x single bed), made up with fresh linen and comfortable pillows to ensure a restful night’s sleep after a day in the sun.


The room includes practical comforts such as individual reading lights and power outlets for charging devices. The ensuite bathroom features a refreshing outdoor shower, allowing you to fully embrace island living.

Shared Garden Bure

Our Shared Garden Bures offer a relaxed, social way to stay – ideal for solo travellers and anyone happy to share with fellow guests. Beds are sold individually, so each four-bed bure is shared with other travellers, who may not be part of your group.


Each 45 sqm / 484 sq ft bure features beds that are made up with fresh linen and comfortable pillows, and each has its own reading light and power outlet. The shared ensuite bathroom features a refreshing outdoor shower.

 

Guests must be 18 years or over, and there is no minimum night stay. These rooms are mixed gender & girls only.
