Beach Bure

The Beach Bures at Mai Sunset Beach Resort offer a peaceful, beachfront retreat with uninterrupted ocean views. 

 

Set amongst lush tropical gardens, the rooms feature a comfortable Queen bed, along with relaxed furnishings with a touch of Fijian culture.

 

Each Beach Bure includes an ensuite bathroom with a refreshing outdoor-style shower, offering a simple yet memorable island experience surrounded by nature.

 

Thoughtfully designed for comfort, these rooms are ideal for couples or friends seeking a quiet escape with the beach at their doorstep. A rollaway bed can be added to the double bures for the third adult or a child. Note:  this room category has a minimum 2-night stay.

Shared Garden Bure/Dorm

Our 4-bed shared Garden Bures (Dorms) offer a relaxed, social accommodation option that balances comfort, convenience, and island charm – ideal for solo travellers or friends travelling together willing to stay in dorm style accommodation.

Each Bure features 4 single beds, arranged to offer personal space while maintaining a friendly, shared atmosphere. All beds are made up with fresh linen and comfortable pillows, ensuring a restful night after a sun-filled day.

The Bures include practical comforts such as individual reading lights and power outlets for charging devices. The shared ensuite bathroom features a refreshing outdoor shower, allowing you to fully embrace island living. Note: the minimum age for this room type is 18 years.

Garden Bure

The Garden Bure at Mai Sunset Beach Resort offers a relaxed and comfortable retreat, ideal for groups of friends or small families travelling together.

Surrounded by tropical gardens, the room features three individual single beds, made up with fresh linen and comfortable pillows to ensure a restful night’s sleep after a day in the sun.

The room includes practical comforts such as individual reading lights and power outlets for charging devices. The ensuite bathroom features a refreshing outdoor shower, allowing you to fully embrace island living. Note: this room category has a minimum 2-night stay.

Beach Tent

The new Beach Tent room category will be bookable from July onwards, with 5 tents available to stay in from 01 November 2026.

Custom-designed exclusively for Mai Sunset Beach Resort, these tent structures with solid beams and a deluxe interior finish are genuine beachfront.  

 

Each Beach Tent includes an ensuite bathroom with a refreshing outdoor-style shower, offering a simple yet memorable island experience surrounded by nature. Thoughtfully designed for comfort, these rooms are ideal for couples or friends seeking a fun escape, as they can be set up as either twin-share or double rooms.  Note:  this room category has a minimum 2-night stay.

Deluxe 2 Bedroom Bure

The Deluxe 2 Bedroom Beach Rooms at Mai Sunset Beach Resort each offer spacious accommodation for both families and adults alike – all with those important uninterrupted ocean views and easy access to the beach.

Set just back from the beachfront, these rooms feature a large lounge / open plan main bedroom area with a walk-in wardrobe for ample storage space and a separate second bedroom down the hallway. The rooms include an ensuite bathroom with our trademark outdoor-style shower.

Thoughtfully designed for comfort, with both fans and air-conditioning, these rooms are generous in size so are ideal for friends or families seeking a quiet escape with the beach at their doorstep. Note: this room category has a minimum 2-night stay.
